Silk Eye Masks

Silk masks may seem to be an accessory with limited usage, and we normally associate them with airline flights, but there are so many more benefits with real silk eye masks.

Our hand-crafted, washable, silk masks are made from 19mm Mulberry Silk, have a black lining, an adjustable strap, and come in an amazing range of colours to suit all tastes.

Findings show that silk masks remove tension from the eyes especially after lengthy screen time. They naturally block out light, as the lining is black, which adds to the relaxation before sleeping.

Dominique Antiglio, resident sophrologist at The Bamford Wellness Spa says, "When choosing a sleep mask, it needs to feel comfortable, fully block out the light, and not be too tight around the head or eyes so that it doesn’t add tension on the face or around the head." “.

Antiglio goes on to say, "If you begin wearing one, wear it every night for a while to give your body and mind time to adjust and you should see it does help your sleep and relaxation." The impact will be surprising.

The silk eye mask helps with creases and lines, as it retains moisture from the eye area, in so doing it prevents creases.

The added  awesome benefit is that silk is hypoallergenic, making it healing for the skin which means its perfect for sensitive skin.

In winter the silk will regulate to your body temperature and warm gently, while in summer it will be cool  making it a added relaxation feature. The silk eye mask is as light as a feather adding comfort without being an irritation.
